CTNY Produces Two New Shows for ETC

                 CTNY, the Catholic Television Network of the Diocese of Youngstown, announces the production and broadcast of two new shows to air on ETC-Ecumenical Television Channel.       A 20-part series on vocations, titled “How is God Calling You,” begins on Monday, September 10, 2012. The show will air each Monday at 8:00 p.m. A 16-part series on the 50th Anniversary of the Vatican II Documents, titled “The Year of Faith: Celebrating 50 Years of Vatican II,” will air each Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. beginning on October 3, 2012.

            “How is God Calling You” is a show that seeks to stimulate and assist youth and young adults to discover the path the God has chosen for them. Vocations to the priesthood, religious life, marriage and single life will all be discussed.

            “The Year of Faith: Celebrating 50 Years of Vatican II” seeks to share important information on the documents of the Second Vatican Council and how they shaped and changed the life of the Church.

            ETC-Ecumenical Television Channel, serving Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, is a collaboration of Christian denominations and the Jewish Community. The primary purpose is to communicate the word of God who calls, nurtures and unites us. ETC is broadcast on two cable systems and two hospitals reaching more than 300,000 viewers daily.
