Faith and Family Festival, July 13

             Registration is open for the Faith and Family Festival to be held Sunday, July 13, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Walsh University’s Hoover Park, 1875 E. Maple St., North Canton. The event is free and lunch will be provided. The event is sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown’s Office of Pro-Life, Marriage and Family Life in partnership with Walsh University, and with the help of corporate sponsors. Donations will be accepted.

            The Faith and Family Festival promises to be the largest gathering of Catholic families in the Diocese of Youngstown. The day will feature talks by Catholic Evangelist Tim Staples, praise and worship music led by Ben Walther, emcee Brooke Taylor from 95.5 the Fish, and Mass at 5:30 p.m. celebrated by the Most Reverend George V. Murry, S.J., Bishop of Youngstown.

            The Faith and Family Festival is designed to be truly enjoyable and deeply spiritual at the same time. The day will include family Rosary, crafts, children’s Eucharistic Adoration, games, Confession, face-painting, Divine Mercy Chaplet, pony rides, vendors, and teen activities.
