All Catholic ages 16 – 35, (ages 16 and 17 with a parent or legal guardian) are invited to
journey through Poland on a Pilgrimage for the International World Youth Day, July 24 –
August 2, 2016. The Diocesan trip includes tours through Warsaw, Czestochowa,
Auschwitz, Wadowice and Krakow. Deposits are now being accepted.

Our diocesan delegation will join hundreds of thousands of other pilgrims in Krakow for a
week of prayer, concerts, drama, liturgy, and meeting fellow Catholics from all over the
world. The theme, selected by the Holy Father, is taken from Matthew 5:7 – Blessed are
the merciful for they shall obtain mercy."

The diocese is offering three (3) options: First, the full pilgrimage covers airfare from
Cleveland, hotel accommodations (double or triple occupancy), most meals, ground
transportation in Poland, World Youth Day registration and fees for $3,795 per person.
Tour guides from Faith Journeys will highlight sites that have religious, historical, and
artistic significance as the group travels through Poland. A few stops include:
Czestachowa, where pilgrims will visit the "Black Madonna;" in Wadowice, see the
birthplace of Saint John Paul II; and in Auschwitz, pray at the Nazi Concentration camp.

There is a "Land Only" option offered for those who wish to use frequent flyer miles, have
an extended time in Europe, or just want to make personal flight arrangements, but wish
to take advantage of the other elements of the full-pilgrimage for $2,157 per person.

A free, no-obligation Informational Online Meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 14,
2015, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Interested parties should sign on to:

paid to the Vatican, United States and Poland planning committee. World Youth events
will take place in Krakow, July 26 – July 31, 2016.
