On Wednesday, September 21, 2016, the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown is sponsoring a workshop entitled Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship.  The Most Reverend George V. Murry, S.J., Bishop of Youngstown and Mr. Jim Tobin, Associate Director for Social Concerns of the Catholic Conference of Ohio will lead a dialogue reflecting the church’s teaching related to voting and political engagement. 

The afternoon session will take place from 1-4pm at St. Michael Social Hall, 300 North Broad St., Canfield, Ohio.  The session will be repeated in the evening at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Helman Center, 3430 St. Michael Blvd., N.W., Canton, Ohio, from 6-9pm.

Funded in part by the Bishop’s Appeal, this event is FREE of charge.  Registration is requested for preparation of materials and refreshments.
