  • The sacred dignity of human life
  • Abortion and post-abortion reconciliation
  • Euthanasia and assisted suicide
  • The death penalty
  • Natural Family Planning and pro-life chastity
  • Related life Issues

The Gospel of Life is at the heart of Jesus' message. Lovingly received day after day by the Church, it is to be preached with dauntless fidelity as "good news" to the people of every age and culture…

Today this proclamation is especially pressing because of the extraordinary increase and gravity of threats to the life of individuals and peoples, especially where life is weak and defenseless…To all the members of the Church, the people of life and for life, I make this most urgent appeal, that together we may offer this world of ours new signs of hope…that a new culture of human life will be affirmed, for the building of an authentic civilization of truth and love.

Pope John Paul II, Evangelium Vitae, 1-6

Both before and after abortion, feelings of fear, anxiety, guilt, panic and pressure are common-not only for the woman who undergoes the abortion, but also for the father of the unborn child, the grandparents, close friends, and even medical personnel.

Post-Abortion Counseling represents a means to receive the healing grace of peace. It allows you to move toward reconciliation with yourself, your unborn child, your family, and God, in a caring and hopeful context.

ProLifeAlert Email Network

We encourage all citizens, particularly Catholics, to embrace their citizenship not merely as a duty and privilege, but as an opportunity meaningfully to participate in building the culture of life.
United States Bishops, Living the Gospel of Life: A Challenge to American Catholics

To assist Catholics in living out the call to build a culture of life through acts of faithful citizenship, the Office of Pro-life Activities has created the ProLifeAlert Email Network. Several times a year before a critical vote, network members will receive email asking them to contact our elected officials with a pro-life message. It's easy and it can make all the difference!
