Brutz, 63, who died April 1 at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren. She was born June 20, 1944, in Fort Thomas, Ky., a daughter of Carmen and Anna Marie Sullivan Renna. Mrs. Brutz was a 1962 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and a 1967 graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. She taught at St. Stephen School in Niles for 43 years. She married Nelson Brutz on Aug. 5, 1978. Mrs. Brutz was a member of St. Stephen Parish, St. Stephen Home and School Association, past president of the Niles Knights of Columbus Council 1681 Ladies Auxiliary, and a judge for Destination Imagination. She was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law, Rose Brutz.
